英语词尾加able什么意思

以“坍喙藻钾－able”结尾的形容词一般有两种情况：

1.动词.巯鹧葩宽＋able→形容词. 以这种方式构成的形容词其意义为“能的”、 “可以 （被）的”、“适 合于的”、“值...。

例如： reliable（可以依靠的）

I don't think he is a reliable man.

我认为他不是一个可靠的人。

She may be slow but at least she's reliable.

她迟钝是迟钝，但无论如何她很可靠。

A reliable car is worth its weight in gold.

靠得住的汽车就是无价之宝。

A man who is dead to the justice is not reliable.

一个没有正义感的人是不可信的。
